This announcement is long overdue…three months almost to the day, actually.
When lights went dim here on the ol’ Cuisinerd HQ at the end of 2013, we’d been plotting and planning a rebranding that would ultimately benefit the consulting business that happens behind the scenes of this website.
Our day to day business revolves around not just the making of food…but the way that it’s plated, the table that it’s placed upon and even more exciting – which accessories we choose to bring that moment alive! Creating a new site to support that business was an important step with the mission to focus solely on the “Dining By Design” concept that actually came to life on this very blog.
We’re proud to introduce our new sister site, Dine X Design, which is packed full of inspiration, decor ideas for the kitching and dining area as well as recipes and drinks. There are already some fabulous contributors bringing an interesting point of view to the concept, as well as interviews and profiles on some amazing people in the industry.
DINE X DESIGN | verb :: dine by design |
Here you will find well crafted, graphically inspired products for your kitchen and table top. Stylish trends to aid in entertaining loved ones. A behind the scenes look into a culinary inspired culture, a hunger for smart food, a thirst for thoughtful drinks and an appreciation for a lifestyle that ties us all to the table.
Let us dine by design together.
On Dine X Design you will find explorations in food, design, culture and style. Interviews with makers, behind the scenes with food bloggers, fashionable dishes, unique cocktails, and table tops inspired by the inner-most depths of our wacky creative brains (Iris Apfel or Clint Eastwood, anyone?)
Be sure to sign up for the newsletter on the side bar to get the latest and greatest on both DXD and when The Cuisinerd relaunches in 2015. Loads of excitement ahead!
This is by no means a long-term goodbye … we’ll be back with a whole new exciting plan in just a few months!
Thank you for so many fabulous years, we can’t wait to share more with you – both here on The Cuisinerd and on Dine X Design!
XO ~ Kristin Guy
